The Pope's Harleys

By Phil Lawler ( bio - articles - email ) | Jun 12, 2013

A confident prediction: this fluffy little news piece, about a blatant corporate publicity stunt by Harley Davidson, will draw more readers than any other CWN headline story today.

A question: What do you suppose the Pope will do with a Harley?

Next question: What does anyone do with two Harleys?

Maybe he can sell them and give the money to the poor. Or give them away to priests who are serving the poor out in the bush somewhere. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he did.

He will use the opportunity to speak to the hearts of the "between 1,000 and 2,000 bikers [who] are expected to fill St Peter's Square for the Pope's blessing."
