iBreviary

By Phil Lawler ( bio - articles - email ) | Dec 16, 2008

Would you like to pray the Liturgy of the Hours, but you're confused by all the options for the day's prayers?

There may be a solution at hand.

Do you have a friend who spends all his time with his iPod, and you wish he'd spend more time at prayer?

There may be a solution at hand.

An Italian priest has produced an iPod application called iBreviary, which provides all the proper prayers for the day, along with Mass readings.

This is not an endorsement. I'm not an iPod person. I haven't tested the program; I wouldn't know how to use it. It's not even clear to me whether or not the prayers are available in English. But those of you who are familiar with iPods, and/or those who are fluent in Italian, will probably want to investigate.
