Ah, now we know what the legal defense for the guy who killed John Geoghan in prison will be: He deserved it. Joseph Druce's lawyer says his client was sexually abused by three men as a child, including "a man with a religious affiliation." And, get this, these three guys will testify on Druce's behalf so that he can claim an insanity defense. Weak.

So Druce wants a free ride to kill a convicted child molesting priest because he was sexually abused as a child. And what kind of "religious affiliation" did this supposed abuser have? That's a pretty broad description that could include anyone who goes to church.

It won't be long before Druce's lawyer names the Church as a contributor to Druce's homocidal acts.
