GIGO

By Phil Lawler ( bio - articles - email ) | Jan 25, 2005

A computer doesn't make decisions. And it doesn't have a sense of humor. It just does what it's "told" to do.

If you go to Google News right now, and type "Madonna" in the search box, you'll get a list of stories about a fascinating story: the weeping statue in Civitavecchia, for which Church officials have found no natural explanation.

You'll also see a photo beside this list of stories. It's a picture of.... No, not the statue. Not the Virgin Mary. Can you guess?

(Look quick. I suspect some human will intervene to fix this-- as soon as somebody else notices.)
