Here's what's new and interesting on Catholic blogs today:

• Mark Shea discusses whether Pacific Islander converts should start wearing clothes, notes Hollywood's destruction of the works of Dr. Seuss, and has suspicions about a lawyer who defended a diocese against abuse victim claims until recently coming out as a victim himself.
• Catholic Light reminds us why it's not a good idea to give to the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (although we're a couple of days late pointing it out to you.)
• Jeff Miller dissects a newspaper article that discusses how confession has changed over years and he's not as sanguine about the change as the reporter and some of his interviewees were.
• Amy Welborn notes a discussion going on in conservative circles to the effect that conservatives have won the culture wars. To which I say, Huh?
• SecretAgentMan notes another Catholic blogger who is thinking of quitting the exercise and responds to another person who says Catholics should quit the Internet.
• Peony at "Two Sleepy Mommies" discusses breastfeeding in public, including Church teaching on the subject.
• Right Wing Film Geek didn't like the movie "The Gospel of John", although he did find elements to like.
• Carl Olson notes that the editor of The New York Times Book Review pans The DaVinci Code as a "pro-feminist, anti-Catholic polemic."
