Action Alert!

After all, this isn't Massachusetts

By Diogenes ( articles ) | Aug 13, 2004

The governor resigned, and headline stories cited "an extramarital affair with a man." This is confusing, because:

1) It wasn't the affair itself that drove the governor out of office; it was the threat of blackmail and/or sexual-harassment charges.

2) The governor is male. He had an affair with a man. Thanks, folks, but we know it was "extramarital."
