Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who has been severely criticized in Catholic publications because of frequent flirtations with young women, has announced that he has no plans to adopt a quieter social life. “No one can get me to change my lifestyle,” said the defiant Italian leader.
The mass-circulation weekly La Famiglia Cristiana was the latest Catholic publication to chide Berlusconi for his playboy antics: “It is incredible that a man in such a position does not have the necessary self-control, and his entourage stands by.”
