CWN Editor's Note: The Diocese of Albany, New York has confirmed that sex-abuse lawsuit against retired Bishop Howard Hubbard will trigger an investigation under the terms of Vos estis, the 2019 Vatican document governing the handling of allegations against bishops. New York’s Cardinal Timothy Dolan, as the regional provincial, will supervise the investigation. Bishop Hubbard, who led the Albany diocese from 1977 to 2014, has denied the charge, which dates back to the 1970s.
