CWN Editor's Note: “As the Bishop of Tyler I endorse Fr [James] Altman’s statement in this video,” Bishop Joseph Strickland tweeted. “My shame is that it has taken me so long.” During the video, the La Crosse parish priest said, “Repent of your support of that party or face the fires of hell.”

I agree with B. Strickland & disagree with B. Callahan's statement regarding Fr James Altman’s tone as angry, judgmental, lacking charity & in a way causing scandal. I wonder what Callahan's statement would be about Our Lord's zeal for His Father’s house at the temple? (Mt 21:12-13, Mk 11:15-17, Lk 19:45 & Jn 2:13-17). They plotted to kill Jesus after His outburst & Callahan plans to appease those demanding Altman’s silence. Yet, despite the zeal, truth can’t be silenced.
