Trump's reorientation of NASA away from targeted educational goals towards space exploration and colonization will allow a fix to the problem raised by Pope Francis. God has provided everything we need, from massive quantities of water to natural gas to industrial and precious metals and so on, on other bodies and objects throughout the solar system. What has been lacking for decades is the will to explore and take advantage of these God-given resources. I hope that Francis will come on board.
