Can I apply for the position of pope? That would be so cool. Like hey man, I'm the pope. Then I could push all those bishops and laymen around. I'd be the head cheese. Wearing long gowns, walking around real slow, carrying that gold thing with a piece of bread stuck in the middle. Hey, what's that bread thing all about? Wait a minute. Am I speaking hippie or beatnik lingo here? Does the younger generation even have the ability to appreciate the satire? Still, where do I go to sign up?
