Rift between White House and CDC delays guidance for reopening houses of worship

CWN Editor's Note: “In the end, the decision to hold back reopening guidance for religious institutions came from some White House and coronavirus task force officials who did not want to alienate the faithful and believed that some of the proposals, such as limits on hymnals, the size of choirs or the passing of collection plates, were too restrictive,” according to the report.

We really should not be allowing either the WH or CDC the authority to tell whether we should have hymnals, size of our choirs, or any other Church related factor. Give reasonable guidance as to attendance size ie 50%. Also this should not go on beyond a reasonable time, ie 6 weeks. Then all is up to the Church. Otherwise to much power goes to the state. We didn't give up the Constitution because of a false sense of security. Glory to God not the state which gives us fear.
