The Pope also wrote a message thanking those who prepared the meditations from the Due Palazzi Detention Center in Padua, including “5 prisoners, a family victim of a murder crime, the daughter of a man sentenced to life imprisonment, a prison educator, a probation magistrate, the mother of a detainee, a catechist, a volunteer friar, a prison police officer and a priest accused and then finally acquitted by justice after 8 years of trial.”

The above note supplements, highlights, or corrects details in the original source (link above). About CWN news coverage.
