Rep. Patrick Kennedy agrees to meet with Bishop Tobin on abortion stand

October 30, 2009

Congressman Patrick Kennedy has agreed to meet with Bishop Thomas Tobin of Providence to discuss his position on abortion and health-care reform. Bishop Tobin countered, “Congressman Kennedy continues to be a disappointment to the Catholic Church and to the citizens of the State of Rhode Island.”

I am intensely curious to know what kind of unrepentant act or anti-christian posture that ANYONE would have to take to be told simply they are no longer a Catholic. Sadly I am bracing myself for another public spectacle of impotence.
