These protesting parents represent today's culture of everything is ok. They call themselves Catholic but don't support the Church doctrines or teaching. If you accept the child, you accept the unholy background. Nothing against the child but the two women brought this on themselves and now expect everyone to accept it. Sorry, do not buy the protesters story or two women. Are we to accept their commitment to sin for the child who, I am, sure is taught it is alright. Lord help us.

That quote re: same-sex couples is certainly true, but I feel impeled to point out that the same goes for divorced couples and cohabitating singles, but I don’t remember any prohibitions invokes against the latter two circumstances. Could it be that a Catholic school full of traditional families might be this child’s last best hope? Why not accept the child after a frank discussion with the same-sex couple that Church teaching on the matter won’t be compromised for fear of offense?
