Melbourne priest says sex-abuse policy 'too self-protecting'

An influential priest in Melbourne, Australia, has called for a change in the archdiocesan policies for handling sex-abuse cases. Father Kevin Dillon spoke out after Archbishop Denis Hart rejected victims' calls for a change in the "Melbourne Response." While the archbishop insisted that the policy has delivered fair treatment for abuse victims, Father Dillon said that the archdiocese was "too self-protecting for its own good."
