Irish justice minister asks court guidance on release of Dublin abuse report

July 31, 2009

Ireland's justice minister, Dermot Ahern, has asked the High Court for guidance on the publication of a commission report on sexual abuse in the Dublin archdiocese. Ahern indicated that he would like to make the report public "with all possible speed" but does not want to jeopardize the prosecution of the priests guilty of abuse.
