CWN Editor's Note: Pope Francis has appointed a coadjutor archbishop of Kinshasa, the capital and largest city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Archbishop Fridolin Ambongo Besungu, a Capuchin Franciscan, will succeed Cardinal Laurent Monsengwo Pasinya, 78, when the Pope accepts the latter’s resignation.
