Cardinal Sodano invokes God’s mercy at funeral for Cardinal Law

CWN Editor's Note: Presiding at the funeral for Cardinal Bernard Law in St. Peter’s basilica, Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the dean of the College of Cardinals, emphasized that all souls need God’s mercy.
About 250 people attended the Thursday funeral, including the new US ambassador to the Holy See, Callista Gingrich; and American Cardinals Burke, Farrell, Harvey, and O’Brien.
