Vatican newspaper tribute to Hugo Rahner book

The September 7 edition of L’Osservatore Romano devoted nearly a page to Father Hugo Rahner’s first work, A Theology of Proclamation (1939), which was republished in Italy last year.

The work, writes Father Maurizio Gronchi, is of “great usefulness” today in light of the teaching of Pope Francis on preaching.

Father Hugo Rahner (1900-68) was the elder brother of Father Karl Rahner; both were Jesuits.
