Italy deports Moroccans who threatened churches

Italy’s interior minister has announced the expulsion of two Moroccans who entered Catholic churches in a threatening manner.

Earlier this month, one of the men entered a church in Venice and threw a 300-year-old crucifix to the ground. The other entered a church in Trentino last year and “shouted abusive statements about Catholicism,” according to an Associated Press report.
