Italian newspaper editor denies he is conspiring against Pope
October 23, 2015
The editor of Quotidiano Nazionale, the Italian newspaper that alleged that Pope Francis has a small brain tumor, has denied assertions that he is part of a conspiracy against the Pope.
Stating that he would not violate a confidentiality agreement with his source for the story, Andrea Cangini said that “time will tell who was right”—the newspaper or the Vatican, which strongly denied the report.
