Islamic State growing every day, Iraqi prelate warns

The forces of the Islamic State are growing stronger every day, Chaldean Catholic Patriarch Louis Sako tells Vatican Radio.

The Iraqi prelate said that the Islamic State is no longer simply a terrorist group, and is functioning “like a real state.” He said that he is “very worried” about the future of Iraq and especially about the position of the country’s Christian minority.
