40,000 join in Italy's March for Life

About 40,000 people participated in the 5th annual March for Life in Rome on Sunday, May 10.

The March-- which coincided with the observance of Mother's Day-- brought together pro-lifers active in the battle against abortion and euthanasia. The latter issue has come to prominence in Italy this year, with an increase of pressure for approval of assisted suicide.
