Olympic competition on Vatican grounds?

Cardinal Jose Saraiva Martins has suggested some Olympic events could be held at the Vatican if Rome wins a bid to host the Olympic Games in 2024.

The Portuguese cardinal, who is now retired, reportedly told an Italian newspaper that the Olympic archery competition, for example, could be held in the Vatican Gardens or perhaps at the papal summer residence in Castel Gandolfo.
