Pope meets with directors of new Vatican charity

On September 4, Pope Francis met with the directors of Scholas Occurentes, a charity founded by the Pontiff in 2013.

The Pope praised the directors for their assistance in organizing a recent interreligious soccer game for peace.

The charity, under the auspices of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, promotes human values and education for the disadvantaged.
