Pope pleads for peace in Egypt

Pope Francis prayed for peace in Egypt during his midday audience on August 15, the feast of the Assumption.
After celebrating Mass at Castel Gandolfo, the Pope held a public audience at the summer residence, and spoke of the “painful news” from Egypt. He asked the people to join him in a prayer: “Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us."
