Prayer intentions of Pope-emeritus Benedict XVI for March 2012

The Vatican has announced the prayer intentions of Pope Benedict XVI for March 2012--although in March he will no longer be the Roman Pontiff.
Pope Benedict's general intention is: "That respect for nature may grow with the awareness that all creation is God's work entrusted to human responsibility." His missionary intention is: "That bishops, priests, and deacons may be tireless messengers of the Gospel to the ends of the earth."
