Irish priest removed from teaching post; argues Jesus is a myth

An Irish priest has been ousted from a reaching post after publishing a book in which he argues that Jesus did not exist as a historical person.

Father Tom Brodie has resigned from the teaching faculty of the Dominican Biblical Institute in Limerick. His resignation was reportedly requested by superiors after the after the publication of his book, Beyond the Quest for the Historical Jesus, in which he disclosed that he did not believe Jesus is a myth.

    For a Catholic priest teaching in a Catholic school, denying the existence of Jesus is what I would call a "career-limiting move".
