USCCB, CRS to host webcast ‘celebrating advocacy efforts’

December 11, 2012

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Catholic Relief Services have announced a December 17 webcast entitled “Celebrating Your Advocacy Efforts to Confront Global Poverty in 2012.”

“As 2012 comes to a close, it’s important for us to look back on the year and recall your courageous advocacy efforts on behalf of our brothers and sisters who are poor and marginalized,” according to a flyer publicizing the webcast. “We will review some key legislation you advocated for and provide updates on the status of the legislation. We will also provide an update on the fiscal cliff situation and discuss our preparations for the new Congress starting in January 2013.”
