Pope to write message about social networks

The Holy See has announced that the theme for the 47th World Communications Day will be “social networks: portals of truth and faith, new spaces for evangelization.”
Pope Benedict’s message for the day will be released on January 24, the memorial of St. Francis de Sales, the patron saint of journalists. The 47th World Communications Day will take place on May 12, the Sunday before Pentecost.
