Luxembourg's Grand Duke forfeits veto power after clash over euthanasia law

Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, who had said that he would refuse to sign a law allowing physician-assisted suicide in the small European country, has agreed to a constitutional change that removes the requirement for his signature to enact a law. The change averts what some commentators had seen as a looming "constitutional crisis" over the measure, which had been approved by legislators.
