Bishop Lahey will receive double credit for jail time before sentencing

Bishop Raymond Lahey, who has pleaded guilty to child-pornography time, will be given double credit for the time he has already served in prison prior to sentencing, a Canadian judge has said.
The Ottawa court will impose sentence on Bishop Lahey on January 4. If he received the minimum 1-year prison sentence, he could be released immediately, since he voluntarily surrendered to prison officials last May.
