Muslim students reject discrimination complaint against Catholic University of America

November 10, 2011

Muslim students at the Catholic University of America have stated their opposition to a claim that the school discriminates against Muslims.

John Banzhaf, a law professor at George Washington University, has filed a complaint against Catholic University, saying that the school shows it bias against Muslims by failing to provide a place for them to pray. But Muslim undergraduates have not joined in the complaint.

"Neither me nor any Muslim student I know has ever filed a complaint against CUA for any reason," said sophomore Alawiyah al Hashem.
