Trial beguns for murder of bishop in Turkey

In Turkey, the trial of the man accused of killing Bishop Luigi Padovese has just begun, 16 months after the murder.

Murat Altun, who had been the bishop's driver, is accused of killing the bishop. His motive for the killing, as described by government officials, is unclear. But witnesses reported that he shouted an Islamic slogan after stabbing Bishop Padovese to death.
