Catholic Prayer: Novena for Church Unity

Description:

This novena is in a shorter form. If time permits, add three Hail Marys or say five times the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be to the Father, or to use some of the many well-loved novena prayers from other sources. For the novenas that precede movable feasts, we begin nine days before the feast occurs. This novena starts on January 18 and ends on January 25.

Prayer:

O Lord Jesus Christ, who said unto Your Apostles, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you," regard not our sins, but the faith of Your church, and grant unto her that peace and unity which are agreeable to Your will, who live and reign, God, forever and ever. Amen.

O Lord, increase in us the faith.

My God, unite all minds in the truth and all hearts in charity.
