The Results of and Psychological Causes of Contraception

Just as humans unwittingly violate almost all natural laws of the planet by, for example, spilling oil to destroying rain forests, our impetuous treatment of sexual activity is comparable. Like all other abuses of the planet by mankind, sexual activity has not escaped human folly. The sole exception in all humanity are the followers of the Roman Catholic Church's encyclical Humanae Vitae. The teachings of Humanae Vitae keep humans in concert with the planet, i.e. with other creatures of the animal kingdom, nature and nature's God.

This article covers the results of ignoring Humanae Vitae by accepting contraception. The causes (theoretical, procedural, and instrumental) of the contraceptive mentality are described. Finally, a Crusade is recommended.

RESULTS OF CONTRACEPTION

Ignoring Humanae Vitae by practicing contraception, man has produced a banality of orgasm such that 1) sexual activity is denaturalized from reproduction; 2) a pagan ejaculatory culture is facilitated: and 3) the "me" generation can act out its massive uncivil selfishness. To those who can see, evident everywhere are pagan symbolism (which always devolves to ejaculation), uncritical thinking, and sexualized emotions-run-amok. In summary, the result of contraception is an uncivil selfishness far beyond the simple beginnings of personal sexual indignity.

The coinciding results can be measured. From 1960 to 1992, Scholastic Aptitude Test scores dropped from 975 to 899: illegitimate births rose from 5% to 26%: single mothers increased from 8% to 22%: children on welfare rose from 3.5% to 1 1 .9%: the teen suicide rate went from 3.5% to 1 1.2%: and violent crime increased per 100,000 from 16 to 76. In public schools, there are 525,000 assaults, shakedowns, and robberies each month, while on or near school grounds nearly 3 million crimes occur annually (16,000 crimes daily). Enough.

Essentially, all phenomena resulting from contraception are in accordance with the following sorites:

If sexual activity is separated from reproduction, it becomes a matter of orgasm. If sexual activity becomes a matter of orgasm, then it becomes separated from gender. If sexual activity becomes degenderized, then it becomes separated from humanity. If sexual activity becomes dehumanized, then it becomes a matter for subhuman animals and inanimate objects. If sexual activity becomes a matter for subhuman animals and inanimate objects, it has been totally denaturalized from life on the planet. And denaturalization means pollution which means the long term results will be bad. ("Homosexual Newspeak" Pro-Life Newsletter, Spring. 1993)

As the encyclical has been ignored and the results of contraception have been summarily dismissed, it follows that there is neither male nor female; there is neither freedom nor synchrony with the planet: there is no family: there is no childhood; marriage is passe; reproduction is out; ejaculation is in; conscience is "me, me, me"; and human nonmarital sexual activity is one of the worst pollutants in existence. If sexual expectations reign supreme, most of the permanent and important things in life will be lost.

CAUSES OF CONTRACEPTION 1: THEORETICAL — INDIVIDUALS (LEADERS, RULERS, CELEBRITIES)

Section 23 of Humanae Vitae states as follows:

To rulers, who are those principally responsible for the common good, and who can do so much to safeguard moral customs, we say: Do not allow the morality of your peoples to be degraded: do not permit that by legal means practices contrary to the natural and divine law be introduced into that fundamental cell. the family. . . .no solution to these difficulties is acceptable "which does violence to man's essential dignity" (Pope John XXIII) and is based only on an utterly materialistic conception of man himself and of his life.

As the law of gravity for those who leap off cliffs cannot be overturned by rulers, leaders, or celebrities, neither can the natural law be ignored when it comes to sexual activity and the common good. As with gravity. sexual activity is a planetary phenomenon with which all animals need to comply in nature to be in tune with life on the planet. There are, however, some individuals who have disregarded these concepts, thereby subverting man's dignity and the common good.

The writings of Sigmund Freud and Margaret Mead can be named as causes of contraception. To grasp the malignant impact and to understand the emptiness of their ideas, readers are referred to Freudian Fraud by E. Fuller Torey. M.D., a book essential for educators and religious. (Fidelity Magazine also has had excellent articles on Freud, Mead, and other sex predators who are out of synchrony with the animal kingdom.)

In Freudian Fraud, p. 218, Hans Eysenck, a major reviewer of Freud's theory is quoted:

[Sigmund Freud was] without a doubt a genius not of science but of propaganda, not of rigorous proof but of persuasion, not of the design of experiments but of literary art. His place is not, as he claimed, with Copernicus and Darwin but with Hans Christian Anderson and the Brothers Grimm, tellers offairy tales.

E. Fuller Torey further states:

Margaret Mead. like Sigmund Freud, was a firm believer in the occult, and she wrote sympathetically of auras, communication with plants, telepathy. ESP, clairvoyance. and horoscopes: in 1943, she became a trustee of the American Society for Psychical Research. She even stated categorically that "there are unidentified flying objects" and speculated that "they are simply watching what we are up to, that a responsible society outside our solar system is keeping an eye on us to see that we don't set in motion a chain reaction that might have repercussions for outside our solar system." Mead believed that she herself was personally accompanied by two "spirit guides" and she visited mediums for advice. (Freudian Fraud, p. 69).

Despite the above, Freud's sexual theories have been followed by unsuspecting professionals per chance unaware of his sexually stimulating cocaine addiction. And, Margaret Mead was declared to be "Woman of the Year" in 1961 by The American Association of University Women (a group that is regularly tendentious and unscientific in presenting data), and she was called "Mother of the World" by Time in 1969.

E. Fuller Torey goes further:

Nevertheless, followers of Freud have claimed that if enough professionals were available to treat millions of individuals along Freudian principles, then indicators of "poor mental health" such as suicide, divorce and crime would decrease. Yet as the number of mental health professionals has increased, the suicide rate has remained virtually unchanged, while the divorce and crime rates have increased dramatically during the same years. (Freudian Fraud, p. 222-223)

Freudian promoters and Mead idolizers have not safeguarded moral customs, but rather have advocated unnatural practices contrary to human dignity. Nevertheless, Freud was the tiller and Mead was the gardener, and their ideas were the manure for the soil in which was planted "the pill" when it appeared. Rulers, leaders, and celebrities, reneging their responsibility for the common good, were afflicted by this mental plague which was foisted upon Western civilization and ultimately on the family. These "discoveries" grandiosely promoted as the first step to Utopia, the concepts proved false. And whatever is not true is just not going to work. Still they persist and, pathetically, it should be obvious that no group requires a greater "act of faith" than the followers of Freud. (Proverb update: "You catch more flies with honey" was rewritten by Freud to: "You catch more flies with sex." In hindsight, Freud really demonstrated the incontrovertible: "You catch most flies with manure.")

One cannot move beyond the Freud-Mead basis for the cause of contraception without going a step further in trying to define more precisely just what their theories accomplished.

Phenomenologically, Freud and Mead (with Masters and Johnson giving the physiology) magnified orgasm out of planetary norms into an event far exceeding its simple reflex purpose of reinforcing male ejaculation. Just as any bodily reflex can be trained and reinforced, so orgasm was reinforced for males who did not need much reinforcing anyway because it is natural to their makeup. But more than that, the male reflex of orgasm was trained and reinforced in females.

The clitoris, which is the female counterpart and undeveloped remnant of the penis, can, with varying degrees of artificial hyper-stimulation, be evoked to an ejaculatory-like pleasurable response. Some feminists have advocated that the male ejaculatory orgasmic reaction is also the primary focus of sexual activity for females instead of the natural truly feminine role of bearing young and maintaining species unity.

Moreover, masturbation, promoted by some feminists and Freudian sex enthusiasts (but not found in females anywhere but the human female), is carrying penis envy to the ultimate conclusion with a nearly complete masculinization of female humans. The message: Do not want babies: act like an ejaculating male instead! Use the developmentally atrophic penis to get an atavistic ejaculation. Instead of offspring or species unity, society now wants ejaculation, i.e. a materialistic and selfish concept of sexual fulfillment. Orgasm-seeking females are not common in nature. To the extent that human females seek it, it is to that degree that they are unhappy being women.

This is the phenomenological result of the Freud-Mead balderdash that provided fertile ground to the arrival of "the pill" enabling women to trade childbearing for male ejaculation efforts. In the end, Freudian theory and Mead's concepts pervade our society under many different "rulers" and provide the theoretical basis for contraception.

CAUSES OF CONTRACEPTION II: PROCEDURAL — MILGRAMIZATION

Yale psychologist Stanley Milgram, now deceased, demonstrated how good people could be duped into accepting bad ideas and acting on them. The best quick grasp of Milgram's concepts are found in Modernity' and the Holocaust by Zygmunt Bauman. Chapter 6. "The Ethics of Obedience." This book is another must-read for educators and religious.

Milgram demonstrated the ease with which ordinary people could be enticed into actions which injure or degrade another. He demonstrated that one-sided arguing with pseudoscientific authoritative pronouncements could induce most people into believing something at odds with their own well-being or the well-being of others. He demonstrated that people could be induced not only to believe an adverse pronouncement but could be seduced into vigorous actions objectively deviant and wrong — from shocking strangers with electricity to becoming a Nazi. Given the extent of Milgram's experiments, no doubt euthanasia, abortion, pornography, homosexuality, sex-addiction, orgasm as a Sisyphean tribulation, and violent acts promoted by music and entertainment would be added to the list of what he could get people to act out.

Stanley M ilgram's techniques are a form of mind control commonly used by many trying to promote ideas and condition behavior. In the final analysis, what Mil-gram demonstrated is the procedural cause of contraception.

CAUSE OF CONTRACEPTION III: INSTRUMENTAL — THE PRESS AND MEDIA

The press and media of today often utilize Stanley Milgram's authoritative techniques together with peer pressure and group processing in order to make "right" what is intrinsically wrong by long-tested standards of Western civilization. The result is a group sociopathy, if not a group psychosis, where men and women are no different: where nontraditional sexual partners and traditional family people are equalized, where extremist, shrieking, dogmatic, vengeful, selfish, misandrist feminists are made equal to homemaking wives and moms; where women's rights are equivalent to men's gallantry: where harsh, demeaning nuns are equal to those fastidious and gentle nuns of yore (And do not we miss them — those wonderful women who "behaved as they were expected to behave" and gave us the best of all transcendentals?). But in modern society, the expectations are different — and women and men have been Milgramized into an antitranscendental existence which is nothing but a feeling-filled product of the modern media promoting Freud and Mead with Masters & Johnson's behavioral pollution techniques: The Orgasm Generation.

Paragraph 2 of Section 22 of Humanae Vitae:

Everything is the modern media of social communications which leads to sense excitation and unbridled customs, as well as every form of pornography and licentious performances, must arouse the frank and unanimous reaction of all those who are solicitous for the progress of civilization and the detense of the common good of the human spirit. Vainly would one seek to justify such deprivation with the pretext of artistic or scientific exigencies, or to deduce an argument from the freedom allowed in this sector by the public authorities.

And there you have the clairvoyant decisions offered by Humanae Vitae: A progressive civilization or sociopathy in power? Identifying the common good or promoting orgasm for everybody? Apparently, only orgasm matters, and contraception makes it all possible! Contraception is the alleluia of the press and media.

But this phenomenon is bizarrely unnatural. If subhuman animals were sexually stimulated as the modern media reinforces for humans, animal cruelty laws would apply. And if subhuman female animals were masturbated to orgasmic responsiveness in imitation of male ejaculation, animal cruelty laws would also apply. Obviously, the planet and the common good (nature) are being ignored. Humans, also members of the animal kingdom on the planet, have been Milgramized into practicing animal cruelty on themselves thinking it is good.

Today's so-called free press is not recording history in this regard but helping to destroy it. It supports the negative extreme of civilization. It manipulates people in the worst of Stanley Milgram's techniques.

Professing the First Amendment's right to free speech. journalists often deny religious people their free speech and their First Amendment rights to free expression. Whatever equality the press professes, it is not equality in access to the press. Journalists lack a definition of "freedom" that has any meaning. Indeed, for journalists, the First Amendment gives an immunity to truth.

Journalism is a hollow shell unless it promotes the principles of Western civilization. And unless the principles of Western civilization are promoted, the press and media fail to promote the common good. Today, principled civilizing journalism barely exists. What primarily exists today is more accurately called PATRONIZM — the charade of journalism patronizing one group or another. The press patronized Sigmund Freud, Margaret Mead, Alfred Kinsey, William James, Ruth Benedict. Gloria Steinem, Masters & Johnson, Planned Parent-hood, orgasm, contraception, abortionists, homosexuals, feminists, and whoever and whatever they desire to sanction liberally. Today there is PATRONIZM, not journalism. Patronpaper, not newspaper. Patron press, not free press. Patronizer, neither journalist nor reporter. Without the principles of Western civilization, journalism does not exist, but PATRONIZM does. Patronizers. still erroneously called members of the free press, are the instrumental causes of contraception.

ANOTHER CRUSADE

The theoretical, procedural, and instrumental causes of contraception provide the basic concepts to start a new Crusade. In order to realize the progress of civilization and to defend the common good, the Crusade must promote transcendentals, virtues, and the sacraments.

Humanae Vitae should be the focal point to lead mankind out of the all-engulfing cultural Perpetual Adolescence extant. Only a deeply mature understanding of whom and what we are in Nature will enable us to achieve adulthood.

A Crusade is needed: In Jesus' own first public act. He violently threw out money-changers who basically traded in what was irreverence. The Church today needs to do the same and wage war against demons once again — and a war against demons has always needed holy water, prayer, and truth, especially Loving Truth which damns the source of all evil: lies, prevarication and propaganda.

ON THE TRANSCENDENTALS, VIRTUES AND SACRAMENTS

The old martyrs knew how to recognize persecution because they could understand when they were being ordered to adore false gods. and they refused with a fearlessness possible only by concentrating on one's transcendentals. Today, the martyring is more sophisticated but still the bishops, clergy and laity must refuse and caution not to adore the pagan gods of contemporary society. While these false gods seek adoration in nefariously subtle ways. still they need not have any power over our souls if the transcendentals, virtues, and sacraments are promoted fully.

Without the transcendentals. everything is a fiction. Everything! The transcendentals make one immune to prevarication by focusing on the real things of life rather than the ephemeral fictions coming from the press and media. Even fear becomes irrelevant with transcendental focusing. The transcendentals protect from craziness including sex and orgasm addictions. They prevent secularization, because the crazy stories people can be tricked into believing can be ignored by reasoned focusing on the transcendentals. They are the standards of Western civilization. The transcendentals applied to faith and morals are almost infallible. With the transcendentals. nothing can hurt and everything is coped with.

Church leaders have a duty to reestablish the transcendental understanding of life. The Church Crusade today must be one to bring back the fire of the transcendentals, virtues, and sacraments. Indeed, the only source of learning the transcendentals is from the Church and the Church needs to refocus on them.

Like Prometheus, the bringer of fire, the Church is the bringer of Matter, Identity. Truth. Oneness, Good, and Beauty. These transcendentals are metaphysical realities, and without any understanding of such, there will be neither priests nor critical thinking, nor an ability to cope with the press and media. And. like Prometheus, the Church is also bound in chains to the earth, suffering in the effort to be free. Prometheus, private conscience succumbing to pressure from without, capitulated in the end to evil. But the Church cannot succumb, but will remain free in martyrdom by promoting the transcendentals.

Poseidon's warning to all potential conquerors can be utilized today:

How ye are blind ye treaders down of cities, ye that cast temples to desolation, and lay waste tombs, the untrodden sanctuaries where lie the ancient dead: yourselves so soon to die! (Trojan Women by Euripides)

The potential conquerors now include the press and media, and they too will be laid waste by the "sword" of the transcendentals, virtues, and Sacraments. Jesus said that he did not bring peace "but a sword." Where are the bishops now? Where is Ignatius of Antioch now? Our bishops seem to be in terror of the press and media. The "sword" of transcendentals, virtues and sacraments must be drawn by the bishops of the Church. They must ignore the political intrigues, the intimidating press, the social gossip, and peer pressure. They must disengage from being Milgranized into tolerating evil. Attack with the transcendentals. Demand to be heard. No alliance with patronizers. No agenda but the transcendentals!

At the very least, every sermon and every school class should begin with a balanced presentation and discussion of the latest newspaper or television report. Everything from the press and media must be questioned unless confirmed by two independent sources. The saints must be transcendentally presented instead of as vapid celebrities. Sex education can be promoted without robbing childhood with expectations of what not to do instead of the current style of "do it without getting pregnant." Television and movies must be openly critiqued and only rarely believed in front of one's children.

The warning cry anent the press and media must be: "What you see is not what you get!" No child under 8 years of age should watch television unless there appears a specifically educational and transcendentally-sound program. Newspapers, television, and movies should be given up by Catholics on Fridays and for Lent, which will give a contemporary, deep and efficient meaning to "fast and abstinence."

People behave as they are expected to behave. The Church should provide great expectations and nonpolluting expectations, because the modern media give ugly expectations and behavioral-polluting expectations. The expectations of nature must be promoted. The expectations must be that the transcendentals can be understood, projected daily through virtue and sacramental living, giving genuine freedom. Indeed, nothing else really matters if the transcendentals are lived and projected.

The Church must demand equal time for presentation of a transcendental, natural law analysis of anything and everything. And the message should go out over and over again. The Church must develop a strategy — a Crusade — of counter-ads and counter-programming.

CONCLUSIONS

The results of contraception are obvious. The causes are undeniable. It is time for a new Crusade to participate in nature which Humanae Vitae decreed.

Humanae Vitae said contraception was against the planet. And as such. Humanae Vitae was the world's first ecological manifesto. Following Humanae Vitae is to be pollution-free. This document was the first to protest the Age of Prevarication. It was the first to object to the Orgasm Generation. Humanae Vitae warned against fraudulent freedom and was a beacon of unsettling truth pointing out how dangerous it is to believe that feelings arc the same as reality. It emphasized that one is never tree of nature. Humanae Vitae repudiated the Me Generation at its core.

The fraudulent freedom is the Freudian fraud slickly imposed by techniques identified by Stanley Milgram and promulgated by the press and media. Freud and his followers, dismissing religion as untrue, are so glaringly wrong it is tragi-comic if one steps back to look at the total phenomenon. Indeed, the id, ego, and super-ego are whimsical fictions when compared to the transcendentals. The miseducation and bogus ideas of Freud and his followers have not only been found wrong but pathetically detrimental.

Modern society's rejection of Humanae Vitae is proof of human rejection of the planet and of evolution, of human rejection of the animal kingdom, and of rejection of nature itself. Humanae Vitae is the reality principle of truth regardless of how we feel. Humanae Vitae is the poignant plea not to abandon the tried and true. And the most important message in Humanae Vitae is not about sex! The most important message of Humanae Vitae- is that the leaders of the Church should stop being terrified of the press and media and instead create an atmosphere favorable to respect of the moral order.

Section 22 of Humanae Vitae:

On this occasion, we wish to draw the attention of educators, and of all who perform duties of responsibility in regard to the common good of human society, to the need of creating an atmosphere favorable to education in chastity, that is. to the triumph of healthy liberty over license by means of respect for the moral order.

Church leaders are called to stop caring about their image and assert the standards of Rome thereby overcoming the standards and malignant expectations of the press and media. Church leaders must guide us through the cultural social adolescence engulfing us. Bring us into an adult society based on a culture of thought not feeling, based on transcendental principles, metaphysics. virtue, and natural law — and we will be in tune with the planet once again and with the Universe and with God.
