Ecumenical Directory, Part Two, published by the Secretariat for Promoting Unity Among Christians, dealing with ecumenical education in schools of higher learning. There is stress on proper training in the seminaries, with emphasis on sound spiritual formation and doctrinal foundation. All the while that a person is being helped to advance Christian unity, he must not lose hold of the essentials and distinctive elements of Roman Catholicism. There is also a detailed section on co-operation between Catholics and the separated Christian brethren (April 16, 1970).
