The Apostolic Dataria, an office of the Roman Curia whose main function is to examine candidates for pontifical benefices, draft documents, levy charges, and satisfy claims pertaining to these benefices. The office was suppressed by Pope Paul VI on August 15, 1967, and its functions were reassigned to the Sacred Congregation for the Clergy.
