Free eBook: Pope Francis' Catechesis on the Family

By Dr. Jeff Mirus ( bio - articles - email ) | Oct 07, 2015

Between the two Synods on the Family, Pope Francis devoted the majority of his Wednesday audiences to a catechesis on the family in 28 parts. These begain last December, and finished just a few weeks before the current Synod started.

I've just finished compiling these 28 talks into one of our famous free ebooks, appropriately entitled Pope Francis on the Family. A number of serious Catholics who were following the series as it unfolded specifically asked me to make it available as an ebook once it was complete.

You can download any of our ebooks free of charge from our ebooks section as long as you are registered and logged in. Just click on the image or title of the book you want. You will find that each one is available in the .mobi format (for Amazon Kindle), in the .epub format (for Barnes & Noble Nook and most standard e-readers), and in the .pdf format (which will work with nearly any computing device). Or you can download the .zip file which contains all formats plus a text file which explains a little bit about how to use them. Just click the appropriate link to download.

I strongly recommend a close reading of Pope Francis on the Family. It is not only spiritually enriching, but it sheds a great deal of light on the ideas and concerns that the Holy Father hopes will take root at the Synod.
