A teaching moment?

Bishop O'Brien explains that he wasn't intoxicated when driving:

Mr. Calderon said the bishop was a regular drinker but not a heavy one. Mr. Romley, the prosecutor, said the bishop told police on Monday that he drank a small amount of sacramental wine at Mass on Saturday night before driving home.

Interesting choice of words. In the same situation, a Roman Catholic would have said he'd taken the Blood of Christ.

The bishops have plenty to talk about in St. Louis.
