Action Alert!

still protecting the predators

By Diogenes ( articles ) | Nov 19, 2005

A St. Louis priest stands convicted-- note that: not accused but convicted in a court of law-- of "abominable and detestable crimes against nature." He's sentenced to 20 years in prison for molesting a child. He's going to jail.

But wait!

The archdiocese, which ignored the victim's initial complaints, and still hasn't offered him financial support to help put his life back together, posts a $500,000 bond so that the convicted pervert can walk out of the courtroom free on bail pending his appeal.

Why?
