peasant uprising?

By Diogenes ( articles ) | Mar 16, 2006

Ever walked into one of those churches that looked Gothic on the outside but inside appeared to be arranged for a contemporary dance-theater troupe? Vosko'd. And, should you happen to be unenthusiastic about the changes, keep in mind that it's Doctor Richard Vosko to you, pal.

He's a genius. He consults for Cardinal Mahony. And he's having no back-chat from the proles. Whence I'm shocked to see that Gerald Augustinus has ventured to enter a demurral (go here, and here) at what he calls Vosko's "antiseptic, pseudo feng shui-meets-Pottery-Barn style." Does Augustinus know whom he has dared criticize? Has he forgotten that, as church, we are a gathered community of praise?
