beyond the realm of possibility

By Diogenes ( articles ) | May 18, 2005

Here follows a wholly fictional news story:

A group of about 100 white supremacist Roman Catholics and their supporters were denied Holy Communion at Pentecost Mass at the Cathedral of St. Paul on Sunday.

But, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in south Minneapolis a group of Ku Klux Klan members were given the sacrament.

Archdiocese spokesman Dennis McGrath said he had asked the archbishop if there would be repercussions for churches that granted communion to white robe-wearing congregants. Flynn's reply was no, McGrath said.

Didn't happen. Couldn't happen.
