The non-judgmental judge

By Phil Lawler ( bio - articles - email ) | Jun 26, 2015

Robert Mickens is not happy about the huge pro-family rally that was held in Rome last weekend. Mickens writes:

Without calling into question the good will or intentions of the individual participants, the gathering seemed like an exercise in fear-mongering through the use of misleading, erroneous, and emotionally-charged rhetoric.

But of course he wouldn’t question the motives of those fearmongers. Would he? Just as I wouldn’t question the charitable nature of a journalist who was ousted from his post as editor of the Tablet after he remarked that he was looking forward to the death of Pope Benedict XVI.

In case Mr. Mickens needs to be reminded whom he really needs to be afraid of, might I recommend Fr. Arminjon's The End of the Present World and the Mysteries of the Future Life. Clue: fear of this is called the beginning of wisdom.
