Marriage in Massachusetts

If you're anxious to know all there is to know about the latest bid for a constitutional amendment to "save" marriage in Massachusetts, there's good news and bad news.
The good news is that my friend Dwight Duncan, a lawyer and law professor who's been up to his eyeballs in this fight from the beginning, has started his own blog on the latest constitutional developments. There you'll find an expert opinion, from a reliable viewpoint.
The bad news is that... Well, Dwight has mostly bad news.
I say that the legislature is trying to "save" marriage-- with "save" in scare quotes-- because in fact the legislature is trying to "save" itself from being obliged to take a stand on principle.
