Liturgical Year, Volume 6

By Dr. Jeff Mirus ( bio - articles - email ) | Aug 20, 2013

The sixth and final volume of our 2012-2013 liturgical year series is now available in our ebook store: The 2012-2013 Liturgical Year: Ordinary Time Completed.

Actually, it is about time that we released this title, as it starts with the 21st week of Ordinary Time (August 25th), in just five days. It runs through the rest of Ordinary Time for this year, ending on the last day before Advent (November 30th). These books include all the liturgical day information available on CatholicCulture.org, packaged for easy off-line use in any ebook reader.

Three different file formats come with each download—.MOBI for Kindle, .EPUB for Nook and other standard ereaders, and .PDF for virtually all computing devices.

Our ebooks, including this one, are also available directly from the Kindle in the Kindle store, and usually directly from the Nook in the Nook store, except that we are having some technical difficulties with this volume in the Nook store, which should be resolved in a day or two.

These liturgical year ebooks contain information on each day of the year, including saints lives, the significance of each season and each feast, and devotional items such as prayers, activities and recipes for living the liturgical year in the domestic church. They are a wonderful complement to the widely popular and uniformly excellent Magnificant series used by so many Catholics throughout the world.

Jeffrey Mirus holds a Ph.D. in intellectual history from Princeton University. A co-founder of Christendom College, he also pioneered Catholic Internet services. He is the founder of Trinity Communications and CatholicCulture.org. See full bio.
