Crank up that rumor mill!

By Phil Lawler ( bio - articles - email ) | Mar 23, 2007

Last (Thursday) night, the Holy Father met with Cardinal Francis Arinze, the prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship; and Cardinal Dario Castrillon Hoyos, the president of the Ecclesia Dei commission.

If you had to guess why the Holy Father would want to have a discussion with these two prelates (which was announced this morning, after the fact), you'd have to say that the motu proprio was the most likely topic.

Make of it what you will. I'll be staying close to my phone.

How typical of the politically-correct crowd - deny what is obvious to anyone with a brain. To quote the movie: "Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?"
