Christ and the New Media

By Phil Lawler ( bio - articles - email ) | Aug 04, 2011

This coming weekend—Thursday, August 4 through Sunday, August 7—I’ll be participating in a summer program entitled Christ and the New Media, at Thomas More College in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

It’s a jam-packed program, beginning with my talk Thursday evening and concluding with Sunday Mass and a getaway lunch. The list of speakers includes a Who’s Who of figures in the Catholic internet-news world: Alejandro Bermudez of Catholic News Agency, Tony Assaf of Zenit, and myself. Among others.

The dorms at Thomas More College are already fully booked, but last-minute registration may still be possible for those who can find lodging elsewhere, and visitors are welcome to attend for a day or even for 1-2 talks. And that’s not all.

For details call Lucy Domina at the Thomas More College number: 603-880-8308.

Please be sure to ask for an updated schedule, because the order of talks has been changed. (I’ll be speaking Thursday evening and again on Friday—not Saturday—afternoon.)
