Augustine Institute announces scholarship competition

By Dr. Jeff Mirus ( bio - articles - email ) | Oct 19, 2016 | In On the Good

The Augustine Institute, which offers Masters of Arts degrees in both Theology and Leadership for the New Evangelization, has announced its fourth annual scholarship competition. Each year, the Institute selects four applicants to receive its John Paul II scholarships, which cover the cost of tuition in either of the two-year resident graduate programs.

Recipients are also offered an opportunity for a paid internship with parishes, schools and independent apostolates in the Denver, Colorado area, where the Institute is located. The deadline for applications is December 3rd. For details see the John Paul II Scholars page.

The Augustine Institute is a leading Catholic academic institution for graduate study in theology, with an outstanding program for students who wish to be faithful, knowledgeable and effective. The intelligent fidelity of the faculty is also reflected in the books, booklets, audio and video programs the Institute has developed for evangelization, Scripture study, catechesis and marriage preparation.

In addition to its two Masters programs, the Institute offers a Graduate Certificate for those who complete roughly half of the Masters requirements, as well as a distance education graduate program for those who cannot study in residence.

All Augustine Institute programs are highly recommended by CatholicCulture.org.
